It's a good gun, nothing special for a legendary but considering how easy it is to get it's a good idea to try and farm for it. There is also a variant (Rustler's Flayer) that shoots 17 pellets instead of 15 so I recommend trying for that. The Flayer has an increased clip size and shoots the same number of pellets that a ravager would shoot, but only costs 2 ammo to fire instead of costing 4. Not only can you get the Flayer a bunch of times but it's also a good way to get extra XP. It has like a 5% drop rate so it's real easy to get if you just try to kill them as they spawn.
